Lahiri is doing well, will resume playing this week

32-year-old only Indian regular on the PGA TOUR, Anirban Lahiri had tested positive for COVID-19 on April 19th and had to miss the events scheduled in the following week. Now, Lahiri is doing well, as suggested by Joy Chakravarty through his Twitter post and will be seen in action at US$7.9mn AT& T Byron Nelson at TPC Craig Ranch in Texas from May 13-16.

Earlier last month, Lahiri finished solo fifth at the US$7.7mn Valero Texas Open before missing the cut at US$7.1mn RBC Heritage in South Carolina the following week.

He currently stands 330th on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR), making him the second-best Indian on it and eligible for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics in July.
